As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it's important to invest my time to understand what you're working toward before you invest your money. Working closely with you, your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy so you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do.
In 2010, I began my career as a financial advisor, and after working for various firms, I transitioned to Edward Jones in 2015. Over the years, I have served in numerous leadership roles, including recruiting and training new financial advisors. Originally from San Antonio, I earned a degree in finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition, in 2013, I received the AAMS professional designation.
I have a passion for helping today's youth and my community. I volunteer as a Big Brother through Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, through my church's youth ministry, and Special Olympics. I also serve on the city council of Bedford, Texas.
However, my most gratifying and sometimes challenging role is that of husband and father. My spouse, Nidia, and I have three children - Ricky, Ethan and Livia. Nidia has been a professional educator for over 11 years. Our home would also not be complete without our dog and two cats.
Relationships are key in my practice, and in my view, everyone's goals are important no matter what they are. The most satisfying part of my job is helping individuals and their families achieve their goals and dreams.
